AL for Agribusiness est un réseau qui soutient et développe de jeunes leaders qui contribuent à la transformation du secteur agricole à travers l'Afrique. Nous catalysons les connexions entre les principaux acteurs de la chaîne de valeur agricole afin de créer un écosystème qui facilite les divers parcours professionnels de nos jeunes leaders. Nous soutenons les agripreneurs en herbe dans leurs efforts pour créer des entreprises innovantes qui stimuleront la productivité et la création d'emplois dans leurs communautés. Le réseau favorise des relations intergénérationnelles puissantes et durables qui permettent l'échange d'informations et de savoir-faire afin d'avoir un impact positif sur les moyens de subsistance en milieu rural.

Since inception in 2020, the network has created platforms for the young leaders to connect with each other and access opportunities to participate in the broader agrifood system.

Faridah Nalunkuuma
Program Manager

Faridah was born and raised in Uganda. She graduated from the African Leadership Academy in 2013 and earned her undergraduate degree in Business Management as a Mastercard Foundation Scholar at Agnes Scott College. Faridah joins ALA as a Program Manager for Agribusiness in the Programs Department. Prior to joining ALA, she worked with Rootical Business Builder as a Talent Manager, where she supported entrepreneurs in building food companies. She also gained valuable experience through her work with various non-profit and entrepreneurial organizations, including co-founding a fruit processing company. In her free time, Faridah enjoys distance running, spending time in nature, and being with her family and friends.

Renatus Mshomba
Program Associate

Renatus was born and raised in Tanzania. He attended ALA and then ALU, where he completed a bachelor’s degree in entrepreneurship. Renatus’s passion for understanding human nature has enabled him to develop skills in storytelling, branding, and design. Prior to joining ALA as a staff member, Renatus worked as a podcaster, brand strategist, and creative freelancer.
