AL for Agribusiness

AL for Agribusiness est un réseau qui soutient et développe de jeunes leaders qui contribuent à la transformation du secteur agricole à travers l'Afrique. Nous catalysons les connexions entre les principaux acteurs de la chaîne de valeur agricole afin de créer un écosystème qui facilite les divers parcours professionnels de nos jeunes leaders. Nous soutenons les agripreneurs en herbe dans leurs efforts pour créer des entreprises innovantes qui stimuleront la productivité et la création d'emplois dans leurs communautés. Le réseau favorise des relations intergénérationnelles puissantes et durables qui permettent l'échange d'informations et de savoir-faire afin d'avoir un impact positif sur les moyens de subsistance en milieu rural.

The AL for Agribusiness Network accelerates the growth of young leaders across Africa’s agricultural value chain by strengthening their technical expertise, entrepreneurial capacity, and access to industry opportunities. Through collaboration with farmers, agribusinesses, policymakers, and investors, the network supports innovative, climate-smart, and market-driven solutions that enhance food security, sustainability, and inclusive economic growth. Description

Janepher initiated a campaign Nhiife Initiative with fellow peers against teenage pregnancy in 2020. This initiative invites Mayuge skilled youth to uplift unskilled teenage mothers in various technical skills. Today, teenage mothers, through cooperatives have started up small-scale businesses, hence promoting business enterprising in Mayuge district. She is also a female youth councilor of Mayuge 2021-2026 which has best positioned her to serve the youth effectively. Janepher is a co-founder of Women Income Network, one of the winning ventures of the social venture challenge at the Baobab Summit of 2021. This venture aims at increasing the household income of female-headed households through maggot farming.
