What is the Unity Challenge?
Teams of 3-5 members will be given a problem or opportunity statement that requires expert intervention in areas such as:
- Financial diagnostic services
- Growth strategy evaluation
- Debt fund development
- Scaling support
- Marketing plan development
Teams will refine their solutions through an 8-week iteration process, pitching and improving their ideas until one team emerges as the winner! The top three teams will receive a monetary prize.
Who Can Apply?
- Open to African Leadership Academy students/alumni & Mastercard Foundation Scholars/Alumni
- Apply individually or as a team (teams must have 3-5 members from diverse fields like Marketing, Consulting, Law, Fintech, Data Science, Compliance etc.
- Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and a data-driven mindset are essential
- Must be comfortable collaborating in cross-functional teams and presenting solutions effectively
