Second Cohort of Ambassadors Joins ACN to Strengthen Africa’s Emerging Talent Network

Africa Career Networks (ACN) welcomes its second cohort of Ambassadors from more than 10 countries and 15 institutions to its growing community. This milestone reflects ACN’s commitment to empowering young leaders across the continent and creating pathways for impactful careers.
The ACN Ambassador Program is designed to cultivate leadership, collaboration, and community engagement. Ambassadors will have the unique opportunity to connect with a diverse network of Mastercard Foundation Scholars and Alumni, supporting them in accessing meaningful opportunities while strengthening the talent pool within ACN’s ecosystem. Through their work, Ambassadors will become catalysts for change, driving initiatives that enhance employability and foster professional growth.
Ambassadors will play a pivotal role in the community by:
- Building a diverse network: organizing at least one campus or community event per trimester to engage Scholars and Alumni.
- Recruiting future leaders: bringing at least 20 new Scholars into ACN programs each semester.
- Boosting online engagement: sharing updates and insights on LinkedIn or campus social media once a week.
- Increasing participation: aiming for a 25% growth in attendance at online events within the first year.
- Capturing impact: collecting a minimum of 10 success stories from program participants by the end of the year.

Built on the principles of collaboration, inclusivity, and service, Ambassadors will not only represent ACN but also act as change agents. Their voluntary contributions will amplify ACN’s mission to unlock career pathways, promote employability, and foster a network that thrives on shared growth.
To prepare them for this role, Ambassadors will participate in interactive training sessions and access resources designed to enhance their leadership abilities, build practical experience, and equip them with tools to cultivate meaningful connections within the ACN community.
