Atualmente, uma dessas plantas, a Launaea taraxacifolia (vulgarmente designada por alface cornuta), est\u00c3\u00a1 a passar do folclore para a linha da frente da ci\u00c3\u00aancia e uma jovem zimbabueana, Brooklyn Nhema, est\u00c3\u00a1 no centro desta transforma\u00c3\u00a7\u00c3\u00a3o.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Brooklyn, membro da ALA Entry Class of 2020 e da AL for Health Network, faz parte de uma equipa de investiga\u00c3\u00a7\u00c3\u00a3o din\u00c3\u00a2mica da Africa University que explora a forma como o conhecimento ind\u00c3\u00adgena pode ser reimaginado em solu\u00c3\u00a7\u00c3\u00b5es para a medicina moderna.
