Meet Naomi Kfu Fiemyah: Our Newest Agribusiness Intern Bringing Sustainable Solutions

We are excited to introduce the newest addition to our Agribusiness network, Naomi Kfu Fiemyah. Hailing from Cameroon, Naomi is a Mastercard Foundation Scholar with a BSc in Agricultural Sciences from EARTH University, Costa Rica, and she’s ready to make a significant impact in the field of agribusiness.

With a strong foundation in sustainable agriculture and a passion for innovation, Naomi brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our team. During her time at EARTH University, she immersed herself in business project planning, marketing, and community outreach, gaining valuable skills that she’s eager to apply in real-world scenarios.

Naomi’s professional journey extends across borders, with internships ranging from soil microbial biochemistry research at Alabama A&M University to operations and production management at SABGENA Ltd in Yaoundé, Cameroon. Her diverse experiences have equipped her with the ability to supervise production operations, analyze budgets, and develop strategic initiatives to achieve organizational goals.

As a research assistant at IITA Cameroon, Naomi further honed her skills in agricultural research, conducting literature reviews, summarizing findings, and contributing to survey designs. Her dedication to excellence extends beyond the workplace, as evidenced by her involvement in community service initiatives with Voice of Nature Buea in Cameroon.

Fluent in English, French, and Spanish, Naomi excels in communicating and collaborating with diverse stakeholders, a crucial skill in today’s globalized world. As a member of the AL for Agribusiness Network since 2020, she has already begun connecting with peers, professionals, and experts in the agricultural industry, demonstrating her commitment to fostering meaningful connections within the field.

Looking ahead, Naomi is excited to leverage her expertise in Agricultural Sciences and her passion for sustainable practices to support the AL network and empower young African leaders in revolutionizing the agricultural sector across the continent.
