Meet Dossou Honoré Houndagnon: Our Newest Francophone Agribusiness Intern

We’re thrilled to introduce the latest addition to our team at the AL for Agribusiness Network, Dossou Honoré Houndagnon. Hailing from Benin, Dossou is our second intern dedicated to enhancing engagement within our francophone community.

Dossou’s educational journey led him to pursue studies in Agricultural Sciences at the University of Abomey-Calavi. Armed with a deep-rooted passion for sustainable agriculture, Dossou brings invaluable experience in crop production, fish farming, and rural engineering to our network. His unwavering commitment to sustainable development and positive contribution to Africa’s agricultural sector make him a standout addition to our team.

Throughout his academic tenure, Dossou actively participated in projects focusing on seed production, natural resource management, soil conservation strategies, and climate change adaptation. His previous internships, combined with comprehensive training and survey experience, have fortified his skills in research, leadership, and project management, positioning him ideally to tackle the challenges at the AL for Agribusiness Network.

As an intern with our network, Dossou is eager to leverage his expertise in agri-food project management and communications to further our mission of empowering young leaders in Africa’s agri-food system. He harbors a keen interest in sustainable agricultural practices and the integration of new technologies to address the hurdles encountered by smallholder farmers while fostering inclusive growth along the agricultural value chain.

We’re thrilled to welcome Dossou and his fresh perspectives to our team, confident that he will play a pivotal role in realizing our network’s mission.
