Aujourd'hui, l'une de ces plantes, Launaea taraxacifolia (commun\u00c3\u00a9ment appel\u00c3\u00a9e lettuce cornuta), passe du folklore \u00c3\u00a0 la premi\u00c3\u00a8re ligne de la science et un jeune Zimbabw\u00c3\u00a9en, Brooklyn Nhema, est au c\u00c5\u201cur de cette transformation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Brooklyn, membre de l'ALA Entry Class of 2020 et du r\u00c3\u00a9seau AL for Health, fait partie d'une \u00c3\u00a9quipe de recherche dynamique de l'Africa University qui \u00c3\u00a9tudie comment les connaissances indig\u00c3\u00a8nes peuvent \u00c3\u00aatre r\u00c3\u00a9imagin\u00c3\u00a9es en solutions pour la m\u00c3\u00a9decine moderne. Pourtant, en l'absence de validation scientifique, d'innombrables m\u00c3\u00a9decines traditionnelles restent n\u00c3\u00a9glig\u00c3\u00a9es par les syst\u00c3\u00a8mes de sant\u00c3\u00a9 mondiaux. Brooklyn et ses pairs sont en train de changer la donne.
