Tous deux d\u00c3\u00a9montrent d\u00c3\u00a9j\u00c3\u00a0 le pouvoir transformateur du placement de jeunes leaders au sein d'institutions qui fa\u00c3\u00a7onnent leurs nations et leurs organisations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Simbarashe Kaunyenye is pursuing his PhD in Criminology while serving at the Zimbabwe Human Rights Commission (ZHRC). In discussions with his principal, it was evident that Simba is poised to make a significant impact even in these early stages of his fellowship. His eagerness to learn, curiosity, and ability to build strong relationships with peers and superiors stood out. What impressed us most was his willingness to immerse himself fully in the inner workings of the Commission getting his hands dirty to understand its processes and contribution to justice in Zimbabwe. He admitted that before his placement, he had not fully appreciated the breadth of ZHRC&#8217;s influence across the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/careernetworks.africa\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/WhatsApp-Image-2025-09-12-at-15.41.56-1-1-1024x768-1.jpeg\" alt=\"Two people, a man in a white shirt and black pants and a woman in a white dress and black jacket, stand smiling in front of the entrance to the ZHRC offices on a sunny day.\" class=\"wp-image-13789\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Notre interaction a mis en \u00c3\u00a9vidence une v\u00c3\u00a9rit\u00c3\u00a9 essentielle : lorsque les jeunes leaders ont la possibilit\u00c3\u00a9 de s'asseoir au sein des institutions qui d\u00c3\u00a9tiennent les leviers du pouvoir, ils acqui\u00c3\u00a8rent les outils, les r\u00c3\u00a9seaux et l'exp\u00c3\u00a9rience n\u00c3\u00a9cessaires pour fa\u00c3\u00a7onner l'avenir de la gouvernance dans toute l'Afrique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ashley Sango, qui travaille pour le R\u00c3\u00a9seau des femmes africaines leaders (AWLN) \u00c3\u00a0 l'Union africaine, a fait valoir son leadership sur la sc\u00c3\u00a8ne internationale. The retreat, attended by leaders such as H.E. Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, Dr. Phumzile Mlambo-Ngcuka, Dr. Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma, H.E. Sahle-Work Zewde, and Minister Monica Mutsvangwa, reaffirmed the urgent need to create pathways for young women into leadership.
