Their project, \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Formulation of herbal ointment derived from Launaea Taraxacifolia for therapy of pain and inflammatory disease conditions,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d is more than just science \u00e2\u20ac\u201d it\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s a story of Africa reclaiming its health innovations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/careernetworks.africa\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/shared-image-4-815x1024-1.jpg\" alt=\"A young man in graduation attire with a maroon and gold stole sits and smiles against a black background.\" class=\"wp-image-13863\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In Zimbabwe and across the continent, many communities still rely on herbal remedies. Yet, without scientific validation, countless traditional medicines remain overlooked by global healthcare systems. Brooklyn and his peers are changing that narrative. By extracting, authenticating, and scientifically testing Launaea taraxacifolia, they are helping to prove what communities have long known: that this humble plant holds powerful anti-inflammatory properties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00e2\u20ac\u0153This project isn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t just about the lab, it\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s about people,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d Brooklyn shares. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153It\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s about making healthcare more accessible, affordable, and proudly African.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The potential impact is profound.
